Aladdin is a 1992 animated musical fantasy-comedy film based on the Arab Folktale of "Aladdin and the magic lamp" from One Thousand and One Nights. The films follows Aladdin, a poor orphan boy who finds a magic lamp housing a genie who helps Aladdin impress a beautiful princess.

The film features the voice talents of Scott Weigner, Jonathan Freeman, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, Frank Welker, Gilbert Gottfried, and Douglas Seele, with music written by composer Alan Menken and lyricist Howard Ashman, who was later replaced by Time Rice following Ashman's death.
